Mountain Cozee was born during a season of life that many parents eventually reach — when your kids grow up a little and don’t need you in quite the same way they once did. For years my world revolved around raising my family, and as they became more independent I found myself searching for something that still allowed me to nurture, create, and build something meaningful.
I have always loved creating cozy spaces and being inspired by nature and the mountains. What began as knitting chunky blankets for relaxation and creativity quickly turned into something more when people began asking where they could buy them. That encouragement led me to start sharing my products at local markets.
This business is about so much more than blankets or handmade goods. It’s about creating a lifestyle centered around comfort, connection, and slowing down enough to enjoy the little moments.
It’s about supporting my family, helping pay for my kids’ sports and activities, and teaching them what it looks like to build something from the ground up.
And it’s about a big dream my family shares — someday building a cozy cabin on our mountain property where we can gather, relax, and enjoy the same peaceful lifestyle that inspires everything I create.
Along this journey we even gained a new member of the Mountain Cozee crew — Moose — who we found at a local market and quickly became part of our family.
Mountain Cozee is still growing, but at its heart it will always be about warmth, family, nature, and creating pieces that help bring that cozy feeling into your home.
